Arts Council England is committed to offering an attractive benefits package to all its colleagues which include:

Pension schemes - Colleagues can opt to join the Arts Council Retirement Plan. This is a final salary scheme and contributions are based on a sliding salary scale.

Annual leave - 25 days each year, plus an additional day for each complete leave year, up to a maximum of 30 days. There is also a winter closure of 27th to 31st of December which provides an extra three days leave.

Relocation support – We may offer relocation support to appointed staff recruited on a permanent contract. Conditions do apply and the maximum support available is up to £5,000.

Working hours– The standard working day is 7 hours per day (excluding a 1 hour unpaid lunch break), 35 hours per week. Arts Council England operates flexible working hours and time off in lieu policies.

Family leave policies- We offer generous maternity and paternity provisions, as well as up to five days per annum for those with dependents.

Childcare vouchers – Arts Council England operates a Childcare Vouchers Scheme which supports our commitment to work-life balance. It allows parents to save on their childcare costs by sacrificing part of their salary to purchase an equal value of Childcare Vouchers on which Tax and National Insurance are not deducted.
